| What's Happening on Park Avenue? Drivers,
bicyclists and pedestrians on Park Avenue may have encountered
construction along Park Ave. and in the road Right of Way. No, the
road is not being repaved. PAWSD has begun work upgrading a sewer
line.
PAWSD will install a lift station and an 8” forced main
which will connect to an existing lift station. This will redirect
wastewater flows in order to redistribute the load on the existing
system.
Traffic delays and detours will be at a minimum since
most of the work will be in the Right of Way. The work is expected to
take a total of thirty days; work began the last week of August. As of September 30, all work has been completed except for the installation of the lift station.
